One of our latest projects was to install this cleft chestnut fence to keep the client’s dog off the veg patch.
We even tried the dog to see if it’s head would fit through the gaps between the pales – unfortunately I couldn’t take a photo at the same time as I had my hands full!
The low chestnut riven pales are screwed onto sawn chestnut rails set into chestnut posts; we included two cleft gates within the fence to match.
