Arches & Arbours

The arches and arbour seats we produce are made from willow woven about a 10 mm solid steel rod frame. This ensures a uniform shape to the structure and aids durability. The steel frame lasts decades, so if over time the willow deteriorates, the frame can be rewoven.

Arches are re-woven in-situ, whereas arbour seats can be exchanged for an already complete new seat. (This only applies to standard size arbour seats.)

<span>Ref: E1</span><br>A standard size barrel-backed arbour seat. 4 feet wide, 6 feet high and 2.2 feet deep. Sits two adults with a cushion in the back; or one person curled up inside for seclusion. Seat is free standing. £700 inc. VAT. <span>Ref: E2</span><br>A slightly more narrow design for one person, providing shelter from the wind and shade from the sun. Free standing. <span>Ref: E3</span><br>A willow arch flanked by willow hurdles and with a central oak framed gate. <span>Ref: E4</span><br>Hazel arch : unlike the willow arch, hazel is too thick to weave about a steel frame. Made as a Wattle Hurdle, it relies on it`s inherent strength for stability. Most sizes can be made, but 2` deep is a minimum.
